About Jordan

A product of a 'Huxtable-like' upbringing, Jordan Carlos, is a Brooklyn-based stand up comic brought up on the mean streets of suburban North Dallas where he was the only black kid in class and at all the Bar Mitzvahs.

He’s appeared most notably as Stephen Colbert’s black friend “Alan” on the Colbert Report, and performed his stand up on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” The Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy, and various New York Comedy Festivals.

He actually took a suggestion of mine for the scene  I did. Hope it came out OK… He was super-mellow and really supportive. You could tell he was the kind of guy who just likes to have fun when he makes a movie. Such an awesome experience. Got to do with the scene with Rashida Jones who is a total delight. Rashida and I did a bedroom scene (Hell yeah!) where I played her… gay cousin. Wonk. Wonk..

ghosttown Buy Ghost Town on DVD at Amazon! Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle with spirited result.
